Cultural Event Promotion

for Cannes Film Festival

This promotional campaign was designed for the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, focusing on films that explore social themes like human rights and gender equality. The campaign aimed to capture the festival's elegance while engaging audiences with the event’s underlying messages.

Concept and Visual Identity:
The campaign’s visual identity was inspired by the sophistication of Cannes, featuring a color palette of deep reds, gold, and black. Posters, brochures, and digital media were adorned with cinematic motifs such as film strips and stars, emphasizing the festival’s glamour. Each design element was thoughtfully chosen to reflect both the event’s prestige and its commitment to impactful storytelling.

Design Process and Tools Used:
I created the initial concepts using Adobe InDesign for layout design and Photoshop for high-quality visuals. Illustrator was used for the intricate details on posters and brochures, maintaining visual consistency across physical and digital platforms. Digital banners were animated in After Effects to bring the promotional campaign to life on social media.

Neon Music

A Conceptual Design for Vivid Sydney

Neon Music is a light and sound installation concept developed for Vivid Sydney, an annual festival that celebrates light, music, and ideas. This project merges the expressive power of classical music with the modern vibrancy of neon aesthetics, creating an interactive, multi-sensory experience.

Concept and Inspiration:
Inspired by the flamboyance of classical music and the neon art movement, I designed a space where visitors can engage with music visually and aurally. Large-scale neon-lit instruments, such as a piano and a violin, are synchronized with music, changing colors and patterns based on rhythm and melody. The installation offers a harmonious blend of music and visual design, inviting visitors to explore music in a new dimension.

Design Process and Tools Used:

The initial concepts were sketched in Adobe Illustrator, followed by detailed 3D models in SketchUp to visualize the installation’s layout and lighting dynamics. I used After Effects to simulate the interaction between light and sound, ensuring the visuals aligned with musical cues, which helped communicate the immersive experience to stakeholders.

Dark Sky Awakens Festival

Website Redesign

This project involved a complete redesign of the website for the Dark Sky Awakens Festival sydney, an event celebrating the mysteries of the cosmos through immersive experiences. The redesign aimed to enhance user experience, align with the festival’s cosmic theme, and boost engagement through visually captivating elements.

Concept and Design Goals:
Inspired by deep space and the festival’s focus on astronomy, the website’s design features a dark, moody color palette of blues and purples, accented by starry visuals and cosmic motifs. My goal was to create an interface that reflects the wonder of the universe while making it easy for users to navigate key information, like event schedules and ticketing options.

Design Process and Tools Used:

I began with wireframes created in Photoshop and figma to establish the website’s layout and user flow. Afterward, I used Photoshop to refine the design, incorporating interactive elements such as countdown timers, interactive maps, and social media feeds to keep the content dynamic. Photoshop was used for high-resolution graphics, ensuring visual consistency across all pages.

Visual Identity

for Wayside Chapel

I developed a new visual identity for Wayside Chapel, a community organization known for its inclusive services and support. The aim was to create a modern yet timeless design that reflects the Chapel’s mission of unconditional support and compassion

Concept and Brand Elements:

The logo features a heart symbol intertwined with a cross, capturing the fusion of love and faith central to the Chapel’s values. A warm color palette of red and orange was chosen to evoke feelings of warmth and hope, complemented by a mix of serif and sans-serif  fonts that balance tradition with modernity

Design Process and Software:

Adobe Illustrator was instrumental in logo development, enabling precise manipulation of shapes and colors. InDesign was used to create brand guidelines, detailing the logo’s usage, typography, and color schemes. Photoshop helped in visualizing the identity across various materials, like brochures and signage, ensuring consistency in brand presentation
