UNI Reality GO
Participatory Design
UNI Reality GO is an interactive mobile app designed to improve campus navigation for new students through augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies. The app gamifies the orientation experience, making it easier for students to familiarize themselves with the campus while enjoying an engaging, interactive journey.
Concept and User Experience:
The app integrates AR/VR to provide real-time navigation assistance and campus information. Inspired by the challenges new students face when navigating large campuses, my goal was to create an intuitive, enjoyable experience that encourages exploration and
interaction. The app includes AR markers for key locations and VR walk-throughs for prominent buildings, making orientation both fun and informative.
Design Process and Software:
I used Photoshop for the AR/VR development, creating an immersive environment that users could navigate easily. Photoshop helped design the app’s interface, ensuring user-friendly interactions. The app’s visuals were developed in Sketchup and photoshop, allowing for realistic 3D models and textures that enhanced the virtual experience.

This project taught me valuable lessons in interactive design, particularly the importance of accessibility and user engagement in educational tools. Working with AR/VR expanded my technical skills and broadened my understanding of how digital experiences can facilitate real-world navigation and learning. I look forward to applying these insights to future projects in interactive and participatory design.
Contemporary Ceramic
Breaking, Connecting, Forming
Contemporary Ceramic: Breaking, Connecting, Forming is an exhibition at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre that challenges traditional perceptions of ceramics. The exhibition explores how ceramic art can convey cultural and spiritual narratives, while showcasing the versatility and resilience of the medium through various stages: breaking, connecting, and forming.
Concept and Themes:
The exhibition is structured around three core themes:
● Breaking: Focuses on the fragility and destruction inherent in ceramics, prompting
viewers to consider the value found in brokenness and imperfection.
● Connecting: Highlights the beauty in repair and the connections formed through
mending, symbolizing resilience and the strength that comes from reassembly.
● Forming: Celebrates innovation in ceramic art, pushing the boundaries of traditional
techniques and showcasing experimental forms
Design Process and Software:
For graphic pattern design, I used Adobe Illustrator to create visuals inspired by ceramic textures and natural tones, ensuring the exhibition’s branding harmonized with the art on display. I also designed the exhibition’s floor plan in SketchUp, optimizing the layout for visitor flow and enhancing the thematic journey. Typography was carefully chosen to maintain a professional and inviting aesthetic across all exhibition materials.

This project deepened my appreciation for how exhibition design can influence visitor engagement and perception. I learned the importance of cohesive visual identity and how spatial arrangements can enhance thematic storytelling. It reinforced my passion for creating experiences that connect art with its audience in meaningful ways.
